Carpenter

Full Time Position: Minimum 12 years full time experience

Successful applicants will be working in the GTA and York Region on job sites including office buildings and professional corporate spaces, multi-residential low-rise buildings, commercial retail and industrial buildings.  Carpenters must possess a full range of knowledge and discipline in all areas of the construction process.

Skills Required:

• Blue print reading
• Blue print layout
• Math skills (grade level?)
• Leadership skills (ability to direct trades, plan and schedule work accordingly)
• Framing steel and wood
• Finishing carpentry skills
• Installation of doors and windows (exterior & interior)
• Drywall installation
• Strong communication in English

Ability to complete additional maintenance and repair work is considered an asset.

A successful candidate will be prepared to work with a young team and is able to contribute to JDL Builders company culture in a positive way.  Uniforms will be provided.
